Love, Darkness, Shadows, Purple, Red, Green, Five, Storm, Stars
Darkness descends from the storm
No shadows of love to keep me warm
Purple, red, green, and blue
All the colors have forgotten their vibrant hue
For colors have faded, the stars don’t shine
I’m not yours and your not mine
If only I could’ve painted as if I was five
My love for color may have survived
Instead I’m stuck with shades of gray
An empty canvas, and nothing to say.
